@sco0psmcgoo @Martyupnorth_2 @HarjitSajjan Nowhere does that article mention arson. Did I miss something? It seems that you are suggesting that human-caused and arson are one in the same. All of the activities I listed are common causes of wildfires that would fall under the umbrella term "human-caused".
@sco0psmcgoo @Martyupnorth_2 @HarjitSajjan "The fires start because arson".
I'm curious as to your basis for stating such a bold claim. Far more probable causes would be improperly extinguished campfires, discarded cigarette butts, industrial activity, recreational activity, etc.
@JasonRe91231943@yrcleaners@bcshaffer Bear in mind that is fast charging which isn't as big a load as that video is leading you to believe. Additionally its is for a relatively short period of time. Electrical load for home charging is a fraction of that over a much longer duration.
@cibc To further detail, it goes as normal until I enter my card number and then it's some speel about all the excitement about Costco/CIBC and a resulting a high call volume and will not take my call. It ends with "Goodbye".
@cibc@Crazy_Canuck23 I have similar problems and more with my credit card being declined most recently by Netflix & McDonald's. When I call the customer support number a recording says CIBC will not take the call and ends it.
@MasterSrgnt78 @SanwarSpeaks Are you referring to the emigration surrounding the collapse of the Soviet Union? Because the much less than 1.5m Soviet Jews that have returned to Israel (with a population of nearly 10m) is hardly a Ukrainian/Russian majority.
Special tribute with a moment of silence tonight was shared for our dear friend Bob Bannab with his family present at the Snake Pit. Going to miss you!
@spookybarns @pk_jason @Ms_Michelle_Roy@CTVToronto This does nothing to answer the request for a link to the article. We all know what "anthropogenic" means; that wasn't the question. Post the link so we can all read your source for ourselves.
@Water_Bearer86 @thepegster23@RachelNotley I fully expect to pay for my use of campgrounds and have for many years. I'm failing to see the parallel you're trying to draw. I do not expect somebody who doesn't camp to pay for my campground stay. Do you?
@jasontkachuk Personal, non-business , I use my MasterCard for everything. All of my bills, all of my shopping, everything I can put through on CC, I do. It's money I'm spending regardless, and if all of it flows through the credit card I get a nice big cash back cheque.
@lethtraffic Traffic lights at hwy3 and 20th St in Coaldale aren't working properly. Seems like a problem associated with the railroad crossing signal. Some of the traffic lights are stuck on red. Crossing arms are up, no lights, no train.
