GROUP F
Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ - The highest ranked team (8th) in this group, though they look good on paper, in recent tournaments they havenโt been able to replicate their 2010 World Cup run that took them to the finals, however with players like Van Dijk (Liverpool ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ), Nathan Ake (Man City ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ), Denzel Dumfries (Inter Milan ๐ฎ๐น ) in defence, and Guus Till (PSV ๐ณ๐ฑ) and Frankie De Jong (Barcelona ๐ช๐ธ) in midfield, the Dutch side have high hopes to go the distance this time around.
Japan ๐ฏ๐ต - Coming into this tournament as overwhelming favorites to cause major upsets, Japan are looking like heavyweights having beaten two former champions in Spain and Germany in the last World Cup, a status they have backed up with results by defeating Brazil, Scotland and England in recent friendlies, they are also coming into the tournament with in-form players such as goalkeeper Zion Suzuki (Parma ๐ฎ๐น), defender Hiroki Ito (Bayern ๐ฉ๐ช), and Eredivisie top goalscorer with 25 goals, Ayase Ueda (Feyenoord ๐ณ๐ฑ). However they are one of the shortest teams in the tournament by height, but it wonโt be surprising if they go ahead to top this group.
Tunisia ๐น๐ณ - Coming into the tournament without conceding a single goal in CAF qualifiers, they look defensively solid having played out a 1-1 draw against Brazil in a friendly not too long ago, though they lost 5-0 to Belgium in their latest preparation to the World Cup.
Sweden ๐ธ๐ช - They finished last in their UEFA qualifiers group, only getting to the World Cup through the playoffs which they secured by their outstanding Nations League performance, they are however still battling defensive lapses as they havenโt kept a clean sheet in their last 6 games going back to October 2025, but they can score goals too especially with players like newly crowned premier league champion Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ) and Alexander Isak (Liverpool ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ) forming a striking partnership in attack.

GROUP E
Germany ๐ฉ๐ช - The highest ranked team (10th) in this group and 2014 World Cup winners ๐, Germany boasts the likes of Florian Wirtz (Liverpool ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ), Jamal Musiala (Bayern ๐ฉ๐ช ), Kai Havertz (Arsenal๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ) and Woltemade (Newcastle ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ) with combined 16 goals scored in the qualifiers, they still have a lot to do to break their jinx of not making it out of the group stage since they won the tournament in 2014.
Ecuador ๐ช๐จ - Coming into the World Cup with the best defensive record in CONMEBOL qualifiers conceding just 5 goals in 18 matches with world class defensive players such as back-to-back UCL winner Willian Pacho (PSG ๐ซ๐ท), newly crowned Premier League champion Piero Hincapie (Arsenal ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ), and FIFA Club World Cup champion Moises Caicedo (Chelsea ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ), they will prove a very difficult side to beat as they havenโt lost a game since September 2024.
Ivory Coast ๐จ๐ฎ - The most in-form African team coming into the World Cup after beating both Scotland and France in recent friendly matches, they also boast some of the best attacking threats on the flanks with players like Amad Diallo (Manchester United ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ) and fast rising youngster Yan Diomande (Leipzig ๐ฉ๐ช) running down the wings, they look unstoppable already and count on them to cause some major upsets in this tournament.
Curaรงao ๐จ๐ผ - World Cup debutants and the country with the smallest population ever in the World Cup, they are clearly underdogs in this group but with a buck of their players playing in Dutch leagues ๐ณ๐ฑ and Tahith Chong (Sheffield United๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ) , trust them to give a good account of themselves.

GROUP D
USA ๐บ๐ธ - Playing on home soil and coached by former PSG and Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, they are currently ranked 17th (highest in the group) and with players like Haji Wright (Coventry๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ), Folarin Balogun (Monaco ๐ซ๐ท) and Ricardo Pepi (PSV ๐ณ๐ฑ) in attack, they can definitely hurt any team though they find it difficult to keep clean sheets.
Turkiye ๐น๐ท - Boasting some of the best young talents in the whole competition with players like Arda Guler (Real Madrid ๐ช๐ธ), Kenan Yildiz (Juventus ๐ฎ๐น), Can Uzun (Frankfurt ๐ฉ๐ช), they can definitely go very far in the World Cup and cause some major upsets.
Paraguay ๐ต๐พ - A very solid team defensively, with the second least goals conceded from CONMEBOL qualifiers, they also made it through to the World Cup by beating both Brazil and Argentina in the qualifiers.
Australia ๐ฆ๐บ - the only team in the group that plays three (3) at the back, they will prove difficult to beat as seen in the draw against Switzerland in their latest friendly game going into the tournament.

After long discussions, the coach decides to stay.
๐จ When Cristiano Ronaldo missed a header against Chile last week, major football media pages were quick to highlight and criticize the miss, with the clip circulating widely across social media. ๐ต๐น
Today, Lionel Messi missed an open-net chance against Iceland, yet the same level of coverage appears absent from many of those pages. ๐ฆ๐ท
Messi paid PR allegations are right after all? ๐ค
If you tell me rashford was decent for Barcelona and Barca should have signed him cos of his goal contributions.
I'll never take any opinion from you seriously ever again.
Rashford is the major reason Atleti knocked us out of the champions League. Not even the red cards were able to stop us from qualifying.
Blame cubarsi and Eric all you want but rashford did more damage than Eric & Cubarsi.
We all watched that game and in my opinion Barca should not sign such a player and thank God they didn't sign him.
