Since February, I've designed and built the world's fastest RC airplane in my college dorm, and that’s not clickbait. Reaper has a 5kg carbon-fiber frame, 250N turbojet, and flies at 500mph. New to X and will be going through the whole build here in the coming days.

China’s humanoid race just went from factories to feelings.
@UBTECHRobotics launched U1 today, a full-size “hyper-bionic” humanoid companion.
The dance video really feels like the future is finally here.
🔵 1.60–1.85m human-scale bodies
🔵 88 DoF with emotional AI memory
🔵 13k+ orders before mass home delivery
🔵 Designed for companionship, education, and home interaction
This is not the robot maid moment.
It is the first big test of whether humanoids can sell emotion before labor.
Seems like UBTECH finally found a way out of the uncanny valley for hyper-bionic robots.
Unveil UBTECH Full-Size Advanced Bionic Humanoid Robot——U1 Pro Series 🤖✨
U1 Pro comes with a Built‑in Memory‑Emotional AI Model, Enhanced Human‑Robot Interaction, Local Encryption of Memory, and Customizable Appearance.
More tech surprises on the way. Stay tuned. 🚀

Andy asks Kubi why market maker pricing beats Uniswap and Aerodrome's AMM model.
Kubi says it comes down to real time information:
"The most relevant price gets reflected at the top of the block. Everything that interacts with Ethereum after that has the freshest price available."
"Tighter quotes means routers and aggregators look onchain. And then you have the DeFi Lego money network effect."
"It's just a matter of making that liquidity available to everyone onchain. And you naturally have that in a permissionless blockchain ecosystem."

Announcing Ethlabs: a non-profit R&D lab for Ethereum and ETH
Our mission is to make Ethereum the settlement layer of the global economy.
The internet became global because shared protocols created a common language between networks. Private systems remained useful, but bounded. Finance is approaching a similar moment. As value, assets, and markets become digital, the world needs shared settlement infrastructure.
Ethereum is uniquely positioned to become that shared base layer, the neutral foundation on which users, institutions, and agents can transact without intermediation.
What we believe:
• We believe credible neutrality matters. Ten years of uptime and the lowest counterparty risk. Ground that cannot be pulled away by any one country, institution, company, or person.
• We believe ETH matters. The most valuable, programmable store of value. A decade of broad distribution, deep liquidity in onchain markets, and maximally trustless asset on Ethereum.
• We believe DeFi matters. Markets, liquidity, credit, exchange, and coordination, open to anyone.
• We believe adoption matters. Principles do not change the world until people benefit from them.
We sit between two worlds: real usage from the builders at the frontier, and the protocol that has to support it. We work with users, applications, wallets, L2s, infrastructure teams, institutions, ETH holders, core devs and researchers, then turn what they actually need into protocol work, shared standards, infrastructure, and shipped products.
Ethlabs is independent but Ethereum is a shared project. We are one node in a much larger network of stewards. This is the multi-node future.
We have spent the better part of the past decade contributing to Ethereum core research and development.
We are opinionated and transparent. We move with urgency, learn in public, and course-correct when we’re wrong.
We are building a lean, talent-dense team for people who want to do the most important work of their careers: [email protected]
Candid wisdom on every page (highlights say it all!). His lessons on strategy & how human nature & the world really works are GOLD(man) - even if wall st. isn’t your world.
Enjoy that well-deserved gap year Mr. Blankfein!
thx @DrewVdW@kubimensah🫡
Enjoyed @lloydblankfein’s book Streetwise.
Impressive arc: curious/resilient Brooklyn kid climbs an almost accidental, gloriously unconventional path to @GoldmanSachs CEO - right in the middle of the financial equivalent of a never-ending old-school bar fight...
Doctors prescribe GUM CHEWING to restart your gut after surgery.
Not a drug. Not a supplement.
GUM. 81 studies. 9,072 patients.
Chewing activates the vagus nerve — the longest nerve in your body, running from your brain to your gut.
It controls stomach acid, digestive enzymes, and movement through your gut. When it stops firing, your digestion slows down.
The human jaw was built to chew for hours a day. You chew for minutes. Your vagus nerve is barely firing.
Mastic gum.
A tree resin from the Greek island of Chios. Used for 2,500 years. The first time you chew it, your jaw will be sore in five minutes. That’s how you know it’s working.
And it doesn’t just activate the vagus nerve — it kills H. pylori, the bacteria behind most stomach ulcers, reduces gut inflammation, strengthens your jaw, and fights bad bacteria in your mouth.
Your digestion didn’t break because of what you eat. It broke because of what you stopped chewing.
I chew it every day. Non-negotiable.
Myopia is something that affects most in the financial markets. Reading headlines all day and chasing trends, it's hard to see beyond what's immediately in front of you.
Having spent a week in NY, sitting down with a number of folks deeply entrenched at the intersection of TradFi x Ethereum, I couldn't be more bullish.
What comes up regularly in discussions is "they just don't know..." And indeed, they don't, but that's ok.
It feels like there may be 5..6 people in the industry who really know how things are going to play out from hereon.
Such a fascinating and exciting time to be in this space.
1/ Today, Ethereum's PBS market is limited by structural gaps. The Blockspace Forum exists to address them. This post (links to follow) presents an initial design of Multi-Party Block Construction (MPBC), which builds on a year of workshops and conversations across Ethereum.
@Rizstanford’s tour and pictures of Arthur C. Clarke’s home office and library in Sri Lanka made my Monday morning coffee enjoyable.
