So yeah, when I'm super stressed about a deadline, worried about our future or my ability as a musician, or just really need a small victory to keep pushing that boulder up the hill, that stupid little ticker has a unique power over me lol

Just rambling a bit while dealing with some creative anxiety: For all the problems that the platform has, Spotify for Artists' little tracker of how many people are actively listening to your music is so unexpectedly amusing to me.

We haven't had the privilege yet of being able to put on a live show, but I have to imagine that that is probably a very similar feeling, albeit far more intense.

It's a major motivation for me to keep trying to figure out a way to progress this project and keep it going.
