Whenever I sign a new client, I think "This one I'm gonna screw up badly."
No matter how much my last job knocked it out of the park, imposter syndrome strikes again!
Running an agency reminds me of Forrest Gump comparing life to a box of chocolate, never knowing what you get. The next client can be this tasty chocolate candy filled with even tastier chocolate or that odd candy filled with weird liquor that you'd happily pass to a 'loved' one.
Shout out to all failures! They make great copywriters. 'To fail' is to make a mistake and learn from it. I write copy for a living because my many failures (that kind I landed on my face butt first) made me more empathic, less of an a$$, and a not-too-shabby copywriter.
