The demand for tolerance comes from people who usually are not tolerant themselves. Left-leaning progressives will "cancel" others for opposing views, then lecture Christians and others about the morality of open-mindedness and acceptance. They say Christians should appreciate people who have antithetical viewpoints to Christianity.

The claim is that Christians should be kind and accepting to the Muslims, the pro-abortion crowd, and the atheists - groups with people that, in many instances, say that the Christian worldview should be abolished. But the standard doesn't apply to the progressives or the various demographics they claim are “protected”. What happens when someone posts a tweet that doesn't perfectly comply with the arbitrary PC standards of libs on TikTok? It becomes morally correct to campaign for the destruction of their career, relationships, and social standing. This is hypocrisy in its purest form. Tolerance for thee but not for me.

This applies to more people than just Christians. It applies broadly to any system of thought that doesn't take the moral imperatives of progressivism as axiomatic.

Giving credence to the moral grandstanding of these deluded narcissists is a trap. They play on your conscience and empathy like an instrument - often deliberately and with ill intent. They need you to cede the moral high ground in order to achieve their undefined goal of “progress”. So they frame your adherence to your principles as immoral simply because others disagree with you. Once “intolerance is immoral” is treated as a given, any defense of your beliefs can be labeled as “bad” or “evil”.

So reject the premise. You don't have to tolerate people or behaviors you don't like. You certainly don't need to tolerate people or groups that don't like you.

I recently moved my family from America to Japan.

It's been rough as immigrants to say the least.

Starting with infrastructure: Streets in Tokyo were not designed with full size American trucks in mind at all, and somehow we're considered rude when my mirror knocks over a little bonsai tree or damages property.

The welfare benefits we receive are modest at best, and barely enough to send money back home.

There are Japanese people everywhere, and almost all positions of power are given to them, leaving minorities like us with little to no representation, even though our people were vital in building this country.

Everything is in Japanese, and they claim this is because everyone speaks Japanese, which just reinforces behavior that makes immigrants feel excluded.

We practice a sect of our religion which aims to enslave or murder all non believers eventually, and our holidays are not recognized, and our fasting is ignored with people eating right in front of us.

Ultimately, the Japanese people have a lot of interpersonal work to do, and the country needs to be dismantled and destroyed from top to bottom.

So, as a new Professor at The University of Tokyo, I will be looking forward to tackling this head on, to build a Japan that works for everyone, not just Japs.

people are so willing to simply abandon traditions and societal gaurdrails that have been maintained for centuries or millenia whenever they feel an emotion or two. This is such a naïve position. You say "peaceful migrants". How can you determine if they are peaceful? You can't unless you have a process for admittance that excludes those without peaceful intentions. And how would you exclude them without a border of some kind? Furthermore, allowing anyone into a area that's already settled without the consent of those that settled it is a breach of freedom of association. A homeowner owns his home and decides who gets to enter. A society owns the place its built upon and they get to decide the terms of entry.

They promise utopia.
What they deliver is something much darker.

A future where free nations collapse into managed chaos…
and where the only ones left standing are the strongmen who never believed in our soft illusions —
the Putins, the Xis, the Kims, and the African dictators who laugh at our self-destruction.

Is that the future you want?
To become the servants of those who never pretended to care about “diversity”?

I am not against the world living in peace.
I am not against friendship between nations.
I am not against human kindness.

I am against the deliberate destruction of the only homes we have.

A rational human being understands a simple truth:

First, a people must be secure in their own land.
First, a nation must protect its own children.
Only then can it offer genuine friendship to others.

You cannot share what you no longer possess.
You cannot welcome the world when your own house is on fire.

So I say this with all the force of my heart:

Defend your people.
Defend your culture.
Defend your future.

Not because you hate others —
but because you still love yourselves enough to survive.

That is not extremism.
That is not hatred.
That is the most basic, most human form of love there is.

And if we lose the courage to say it…
then we will lose everything else as well.
