Paul Scholes on THAT VAR call: “It’s a foul. There’s two fouls, he’s got his hand on top of Raya & there’s someone behind pulling his arm. People are moaning Arsenal have done it all year, but they haven’t. They’ve done it legally.” 🗣️

FIFA probably won’t look at this and won’t care - but this is genuinely abhorrent, unsportsmanlike conduct.
Whoever instructed ballboys to do this needs a hefty fine and long ban from football. This is absurd behavior to be doing to a player mid match.
Just look at Achraf Hakimi , a top tier PSG player joining in stealing towels from the Senegal goalkeeper at AFCON final so that he can’t clean his gloves. Can he do this in Europe? CAF is a disgrace
People are saying Senegal have set African football back 10 years.
I disagree.
I think they have REVOLUTIONISED the sport.
No longer will teams just allow being victims of BLATANT corruption. They will now make a stand.
BRAVO!
I saw Erling Haaland throw a ball at the back of big Gabriel’s head, yell at a little boy, tell Arteta to stay humble.
I watch Stoke City, Birmingham and the likes being hooligans against us and the media could only call us soft.
I watched Neville, Nistelrooy and co almost murder Reyes in that fraudulent 2-0 defeat that broke our unbeaten record. What I didn't see is the media having the same reaction they are having on Martinelli.
It is not about Martinelli, it is about Arsenal. Martinelli's only offence is he is an Arsenal player. If he was playing for some other clubs the noise won't be this much.
We are nine games into the season, we have won 7, drawn 1, and lost 1. We have won our opening two Champions League matches without even conceding a goal. We have kept six clean sheets and scored 18 goals. We are second in the table, having already played at Old Trafford, Anfield, St James Park, and Manchester City at home.
We have accomplished all of this while integrating numerous new players and losing key ones, such as Saka, Odegaard, Saliba, and Havertz.
If you're moaning at this, then give your head a wobble. Whilst it hasn't been pretty in some games, we are winning matches, and that's all you should care about. Mikel is cooking, and I'm excited about it.
So according to Webb it’s ‘good use of VAR’ because Pope got a touch on the ball but when Saliba got a good head on the ball before catching Joao Pedro he said ‘"That touch on the ball doesn't negate the possible award of a penalty’. It can’t be both. What a farce.
