@JRailVolunteer That was just to give an example of what can happen with tight turnarounds, if there is slack in the timetable they’ll be alright but if not i wouldn’t be surprised to see it rejected on those grounds alone
@JRailVolunteer Point I’m making is to compare them to Shepperton services that only get 7 minutes at Waterloo and struggle to keep to time. If you forget the pick up at Clapham the first stop being Salisbury means unless there is slack in the timetable it could easily go very badly wrong
@icecoldbanger@igm1942@SocialistLew In Europe the taxpayer subsides public transport, in the uk this doesn’t happen and more of the cost is transferred to the passenger
@jack_buchanan_@CrossCountryUK Strike actually begins on the 23rd and the game is on the 22nd so only an issue if planning to stay overnight after the game
@TowerHamletsNow I know you’re very keen to move illegally parked cars on the road sometimes towing them away with the hour, yet for one that’s been abandoned outside your depot blocking the pavement and CS3 for at least 10 days you’ve done nothing.
