@SassyMetisChick I had cut off contact with my stepmother but for my 40th she had my brother give me, from her, painted tiles that said “You reap what you sow” in Italian. She doesn’t speak Italian but I do and she would constantly complain to people that I studied it but didn’t learn anything.
@Imani_Barbarin He forgot something halfway through and left all the…gear in while he turned around to go find it. Afterwards they just left me there and I had to wait for the nurse to come back to ask for a Tylenol. It was brutal.
@RaxKingIsDead When my dad was terminally ill I brought him tres leches cake from the bakery where I worked. He had never had it before and then it became one of the only things he wanted to eat. My (Irish-Italian) family now calls it MILK CAKE and requires it every Christmas.
@DoorDash_Help your platform is letting customers order for outside of our delivery range. @ToastTab said to contact your customer service but “queue is at capacity” how do we fix this?

@radha_sings @FuckboisOfLit I hated it so much and it was our Female Author book that year so I felt like I was supposed to like it and didn’t know why I didn’t. I think my best friend threw it across the room.
@ADuffie26 @FuckboisOfLit I hated The Awakening too! And I couldn’t remember the title until you said it, my brain was going “the one where she walks into the ocean because she was tired of her husband and kids”
One third of people killed by the police were running away/attempting to flee.
Cops are killing people who pose no threat to them or surroundings. Police keep shooting people in their back as they run away.
People run because they’re afraid of these violent killers in uniform.
@oddbeauty42 @bennessb So if you are able to get the process started in advance it could help (not sure what your situation is like). I didn’t have any reactions or side effects, but it did take a few days to start feeling better. Happy to answer any questions!
@oddbeauty42 @bennessb Sure! I received antibodies in June. It was an IV infusion that took about an hour (the whole process took a couple of hours because they keep you to monitor for allergic reactions). It did take about 4 days of phone tag to set up the appt +
Franco is picking strawberries in Salinas CA. He is paid by the box of fruit he fills and is considered one of the faster pickers in his crew. The rows are long and the bathrooms and shade are at the end of the rows. #WeFeedYou
COVID minimizers: We can't expect people to do lockdowns forever.
Us: We agree! Let’s all wear masks to keep businesses, schools, and services open, and so everyone can participate in society safely.
COVID minimizers: No way, masks suck. The vulnerable should stay home forever.

Welcome! We hope you are enjoying “living with the virus”. Yes, you may have COVID for the 3rd time, unable to get medical care, facing delays traveling, or missing personnel. But now you can go through all this without having to wear a mask! Yay!
In the week ahead, 80% of the US population will experience highs of 90 or higher. Public health agencies urge you to stay indoors, seek a/c, avoid strenuous activity.
We can’t. https://t.co/rEMp0QbaCs
@VertigoGrl@bennessb Hi, I have ankylosing spondylitis and recently got monoclonal antibodies, I think they helped. I chose them over paxlovid bc I was worried about the rebound & didn’t have the energy to go get renal function tested 1st. I’d be happy to answer any questions!
