@daddyhope Well, let's be clear abut this and not jump to the end. The constitution states the ways and processes that shld be followed for amendments. Without that, any purported attempts to change will be an illegality. The 2013 constitution remains intact and the law of the land.

Today we remember Dr Alex Magaisa, a rare Zimbabwean mind whose words carried wisdom, courage and moral clarity. He wrote not merely to comment on politics, but to awaken conscience, defend truth and remind a wounded nation that power is temporary, but principle endures. His voice may be silent, but his ideas remain a light for all who still believe in justice, democracy and the dignity of Zimbabwe. Continue to rest in peace, The Peoples Bishop @Wamagaisa
"A football team cannot request another half because the scoreboard is inconvenient." — What would Alex Magaisa have made of Zimbabwe's 2030 agenda?

In this powerful essay, Dr Gift Mawire reflects on what the celebrated constitutional scholar might have said about the 2030 agenda, CAB 3, succession politics, corruption, the economy and the future of democracy.
As Zimbabwe confronts another constitutional crossroads, Magaisa's central question remains as relevant as ever: Why must the rules change when the end of a mandate is approaching?
