Mama monarchs are laying eggs and their larva will be the adults that migrate to Mexico between October and November. Students will learn to identify the monarchs as male/female, tag them for Monarch Watch citizen science project and release them into the garden.

Today we take a voluntary vow of silence to honor those who have been silenced by fear, ignorance or oppression. On the “Wall of Silence,” students sign their name on a list honoring certain specific groups of people who have been silenced. #DayofSilence
