@Rick_Ferri Most are skeptical at the quality of my service bc I charge less than avg. I explain it’s bc I don’t have bosses who need fancy new suits, or shareholders. I leverage technology and my expertise to effectively manage their financial wealth. #locksmithparadox
And here are the actual data
White bread 🍞 per pound
1977: $0.405
2019: $1.333
Incr: 229.1%
Median personal income 💰, age 25-34
1977: $9,336
2017: $35,455
Incr: 279.8%
So rather than being 6x as expensive (!), 🍞 is ~15% cheaper relative to income

@Rick_Ferri I can speak w/ a client until I’m blue in the face that your idea of simplicity gives he or she the highest probability of a successful investment outcome, the client ultimately hates the idea of an advisor ‘babysitting’ the assets. Tough conundrum for an honest advisor.
@brosen23 Not too difficult if they follow a disciplined approach, which includes putting money away every month into a globally diversified portfolio and allow the dividends/interest to reinvest constantly.
Real question: if Ramsey says you can "expect a 12% [annual] return long term," why does he promote doing the "debt-free scream" when borrowers can lock in 15- to 30-year mortgage rates below 4% and invest the capital for the arbitrage? It's just math.
Time’s always moving on; nothing can stop it. We can’t change the past, but we can still learn from it. And we can shape the future, creating a more peaceful era, by adopting a realistic approach, recognising that the more compassionate you are, the more you’ll find inner peace.
