Good Afternoon,
My Statement On Falsehoods Relating To Teenager Associated With the 2017 Moi Nairobi Girls High School Fire
I have seen repeated falsehoods on this platform and elsewhere, alleging that the teenage girl who was accused and tried at the High Court of Kenya before Justice Stella Mutuku for starting a fire that killed 10 girls in a dormitory at Moi Nairobi Girls is my daughter.
I wish to make reference to my 2017 statement on the same. Let it be known to all the perpetrators of this reckless, insensitive and inhumane falsehood that I have NEVER had a daughter or a relative at Moi Nairobi Girls.
Unfortunately, some reckless individuals have decided to score whatever points by regurgitating this falsehood without any due consideration to the parents and relatives who lost loved ones in the incident and the fresh wounds they may still have.
This is too low even for purposes of scoring political points.
My heart goes out to the parents who lost their children in this unfortunate incident and whose scars continue to be opened afresh each time in the name of people politicking.
Humanity and morality should have taken their pain into consideration but this too has failled.
Finally, the parents of the girl in question are known. If those pursuing this story care for truth, let them visit the said school and get all the facts.
@KenyaAirways@kipmurkomen Stuck at an airport from 08.00am waiting for a KQ plane which we were to board at 10:10 am which later changed to 11:35am only to later get an alert that it’s been delayed to 14:35 pm. Is this fair! No wonder KQ makes losses

NG-CDF education bursary fund remains one of the greatest drivers of access to education for the disadvantaged. However it must be reviewed to address the inequalities in the current allocation process. I plan to very soon sponsor a Bill to address these allocation discrepancies
@AmbMKamau So what is being done about those employed as househelps? Proper guidelines need to be put in place or we cease/cancel all agencies dealing with sending this cadre to Saudi Arabia
And it has come to pass - once again congratulations to you, President-Elect @WilliamsRuto As you once said, mambo nikujipanga. Your prowess at it is undoubtably good. God's guidance going forward.
@wambui_kimathi @JamesMacharia_ @GovernorKahiga Really sad. Residents are being forced to walk several kilometers as vehicles are getting stuck. During burials they are forced to carry the coffin shoulder high.
Thank you so much Laikipia for the opportunity to work with, and for you AGAIN. Your support, warmth and presence during the campaigns and most important, your vote is appreciated. Now we get to work #MunguMbele
