being a millennial manager is giving feedback like this: “look, I personally dgaf. But I need you to do XYZ so these mfs don’t come saying nothing to me!!!”
I saw a post that said:
“I think being forced to be hyper independent as a child has caused me to be irrationally angry with any adult who needs their hand held through anything they do.”
And I felt that in my soul.
With heavy hearts and profound respect, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Lt Col (Dr) Martin M. Mutiga. A dedicated officer, a skilled pharmacist, and a compassionate healer, Dr. Mutiga served the Kenya Air Force with unwavering commitment and distinction.
His contributions to the health and well-being of those in uniform and their families will forever remain a testament to his selflessness and professionalism. Beyond his rank and title, he was a mentor, a friend, and a source of strength to many.
As we mourn his untimely passing, we take solace in the legacy of service and care he leaves behind.
The women of Team Alpha winning Outlast is the best possible ending.
They were the only ones who kept their integrity while dealing with Team Bravo’s constant scheming and the misogynistic behavior coming from Team Charlie.
Justice was served.

You're supposed to use every unfair advantage you have. Looks, genetics, connections, dad's money, whatever.
There's nothing noble about choosing the hardest path just to feel like an underdog.
My fave Kenyanism word: Rada? Depending on the context it could mean WTF? It could mean “seriously?”. It could mean “what’s up?”. It could mean “the hell’s wrong with you?” And you can understand it by the tone someone uses when saying it, and I find it so beautiful.
I recently heard something I can’t unhear: Over 80% of the feedback women receive at work is about their personality; not their work. I know it’s true.
