True. In UK, if I got fever and cold, I rested for 2 day all gone. But in Hong Kong, you have to see doctor and take strong pills otherwise it will last for months.

这个确实是inconclusive，可是这也许是因为多于一个variables的缘故。

这涉及另一个我迷惑了很久的话题：

澳洲是一个奇怪地方。我在那里住了十多年。

最初去是高中嘛。海外寄宿生当然是要有医疗保险的（我没查，也许本地全民也有？！）。那么，感冒发烧就要求学校看医生啊。

亚洲学生：我病了，请安排看医生？

校长：你什么病？

亚洲学生：感冒发烧。

校长：那不是病！没有人感冒发烧看医生的。

亚洲学生：我有医疗保险啊。或者付钱也可以啊。

校长：不是钱的问题。没有人感冒发烧看医生的。

最初我们都觉得很奇怪，可是老师同学反而觉得我们奇怪。自己敖两天就会好的嘛，看什么医生？有病！

几年以后我也习惯了。可是很奇怪，我在香港是从小哮喘的，每个月看两次医生的程度，但我在澳洲住了十二年，除了一次笑得太凶嘴巴脱臼以外，我没看过医生！感冒发烧很少很少，哪怕有，就是敖一两天自然就会好。

回到香港以后，我十多年来已经构成这个习惯和信仰，感冒发烧我不看医生自己敖，可是，奇怪得事来了，得敖两星期才会好，而且都不是生龙活虎那种复原。一次这样，两次这样，三次这样，我才知道好像哪里不对。后来一次澳洲留学生聚会，有人问起来，大家有没有发现，在香港感冒发烧是不会自己好的！

这事情我迷惑了很多年：

1、澳洲感冒发烧频率低很多。

2、在澳洲，感冒发烧是自己敖一两天就会好的。别说看医生，连成药都不必吃。

我自己怀疑，可能是水土好的原因？我没结论，只是怀疑如此。
