Ronin: The Gaming Chain

Ronin is quickly proving to be the dominant NFT gaming chain, demonstrating that it can act as a primary distribution channel for crypto games. Originally created to support the growth of Axie and catalyzing millions of users in the 2021 cycle, Ronin is becoming so much more. It’s becoming the mitochondria of web3 gaming. The powerhouse of the industry.

The Ronin Effect: Pixels migration to Ronin

The last few months have perfectly illustrated Ronin’s power as a games distribution platform.

Pixels grew from 5K to 730 K DAU when migrating from Polygone to Ronin. MAU currently sits at a whipping 1.3 M. Is Pixels the largest onchain application in all of crypto right now? Game developers need users and Pixels proves that Ronin is the only chain that can offer this.

Our vision is coming to fruition.

The first platform to dominate distribution enjoys a significant advantage, with a good chance to leapfrog competitors. Think of how Apple used content via the iPod/iTunes/Mac connect to flank Microsoft and beat Sony at their own game. Artists were willing to endorse iTunes and upload their music for a lower cost because of the distribution and marketing power that Apple had.
