Subsequently, denied access to the flight. Checked in on line on 17/12/24. Surely the system should pick this up. (Passport doesn’t actually expired until July 25, but not within 10 years of issue).

@Ryanair can you explain to me how my wife was allowed to check in on line for a flight, presented passport to staff at the bag drop only to be told at the gate, when boarding the plane that her passport was two months out of date.
