Yes. We ACTIVELY Recover. It’s easy to say “abstain”. So often, we have used chemicals or behaviors to deal with life problems, and without active recovery, we continue to deal with life problems in unproductive ways. Suggestion: Do. The. Work. That’s the FAIR option.
Rest is a part of the recovery process. For many of us, we spent so much time engaged in activity, that we failed to connect with ourselves and others.
