I hope everyone will read Dave Ramsey’s comments about going cashless. It’s a two minute read. No one has explained it better. He brings up several situations I'd never considered.
I took this picture of my receipt in my beautiful town Kerrville Texas. I support this and I can see how this could affect our kids by having gaps in work ethic, financial literacy, and community connection.
Dave Ramsey repost:
HERE'S WHAT NO CASH ACTUALLY MEANS:
A cashless society means no cash. Zero. It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means:
* If you are struggling with your mortgage on a particular month, you can’t do an odd job to get you through.
* Your child can’t go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of summer cash.
* No more cash slipped into the hands of a child as a good luck charm or from their grandparent when going on holidays.
* No more money in birthday cards.
* No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning.
* No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $20 a week away for.
* No more little jobs on the side because your wages barely cover the bills or put food on the table.
* No more charity collections.
* No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return.
* No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones.
What a cashless society does guarantee:
* Banks have full control of every single penny you own.
* Every transaction you make is recorded.
* All your movements & actions are traceable.
* Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need ‘clarification’ from you which will take about 3 weeks, a thousand questions answered & five thousand passwords.
* You will have no choice but to declare & be taxed on every dollar in your possession.
* The government WILL decide what you can & cannot purchase.
* If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’.
Forget about cash being dirty. Stop being so easily led. Cash has been around for a very, very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence.
If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash.
Please open your eyes. Please stop believing everything you are being told. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas.
Pay with cash & please say no to a cashless society while you still have the choice.
Today I’ll work a 9-hour day to pay for illegals to have free housing and healthcare. Most of my paycheck will go to taxes , my inflated mortgage and my insanely high health insurance costs—my taxes will fund fraud, global communism, and illegal border hoppers. I’ll put away a measly amount so my children can hope to one day afford college, while the illegals who just showed up here will go for free. My American children will be paying loans well into their 30s while they compete with debt-free foreign invaders for a low-paying job outside their degree.
This is the new American dream brought to us by criminal politicians and corrupt judges. 🇺🇸 🆘
Garland is exactly right. We have the same problem in Williamson County Tennessee. The ES&S voting machines on which we're forced to vote do NOT allow voters to verify their selections on their ballot. Because those selections are embedded in a bar code no human can read. And its the bar code -- or QR code -- that the tabulator reads. NOT the text on the ballot.
@SenWarren At least @elonmusk takes risks that no one else is willing to take and has the smarts to do what he does. He makes jobs for people. You get rich through insider trading and have not done anything for the American people but betray us. Just log off....
HOLEE SHYT‼️ Tulsi Gabbard MOAB.. 👀
“Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine.
In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted.

BREAKING: Acting AG Todd Blanche just announced indictments for three individuals involved in a massive child smuggling ring. But the real bombshell is what he said next...
The DOJ has officially uncovered over 15,500 "super sponsor" cases.
Read that number again: 15,500.
Because of the Biden Administration's disastrous and broken border policies, thousands of innocent children were essentially handed over to criminal networks, traffickers, and abusers. They completely turned a blind eye while the worst of the worst exploited the system right in our own backyard.
Absolutely sickening. Where is the mainstream media on this?!
WOAH! 🤯 this noble woman from Skid Row refused to take money to do Voter Fraud for the Dems! 🗳️🙏🏻
Too bad we didn’t have more like this! It’s honestly sickening that Karen Bass and Nithya Raman would exploit the starving homeless to steal the election from Spencer Pratt!

@GilGatch@AGAlanWilson I'd like to be able to support you, but unfortunately, you've earned this score. Sadly, many of our representatives aren't taking republican principles seriously....limited gov't, lower taxes (for everyone), fiscal responsibility, etc.
@atensnut@davidpascoesc We need @davidpascoe to get rid of the corruption. If you aren't from here, you don't know. Instead, we will get the same old establishment people. We will see the posts crabbing at us for electing Lindsay Graham again. We want change but the establishment is strong here.
My Closing Argument
In every trial, after the evidence has been presented and the witnesses have testified, the lawyers stand before the jury and make their closing arguments. They remind the jury what the case is really about. They separate fact from fiction. They ask the jury to look at the evidence and reach the right conclusion.
So today, I want to make my closing argument to the people of South Carolina.
I am running for Attorney General to make South Carolina the safest and least corrupt state in America. Unlike the other candidates in this race, I have a record proving I can actually get it done.
When I say I will fight corruption, you don’t have to speculate about what I might do. I led the largest Statehouse corruption probe in modern South Carolina history. That investigation took down some of the most powerful politicians in our state and exposed a culture that had convinced itself the rules didn’t apply to insiders. When I say I will fight violent crime, I don’t have to point to campaign promises. I can point to the murderers I prosecuted, the criminals I put on death row, and the families I fought for over the course of my career.
My opponents want this race to be about one thing: that I used to be a Democrat. They want you focused on a party label because they don’t want you focused on our records. The truth is that even as a Democrat, I was pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, tough on crime, and a supporter of the death penalty. I was putting murderers on death row while many Republicans were finding excuses not to. I was calling for the firing squad while politicians sat around and did nothing. I was taking on corruption while politicians were looking the other way.
The irony is that the candidate attacking me the most for once being a Democrat has spent his career voting like a liberal lawyer-legislator. Stephen Goldfinch consistently ranks among the more liberal members of the South Carolina Senate. He supports activist judges. He supported judges tied to the DEI movement. He is part of the lawyer-legislator system that has controlled Columbia for decades and helped create many of the problems conservatives complain about every election season.
The people funding Stephen Goldfinch understand exactly what is at stake in this race. The trial lawyers have poured enormous resources into protecting him because they know he represents the status quo. They know he won’t challenge the system that benefits them. They know he won’t take on the lawyer-legislator culture that allows insiders to profit while ordinary South Carolinians pay the price. Most importantly, they know he won’t do what I have already done before: expose corruption and hold powerful people accountable.
This election ultimately comes down to a simple question. Do you want a prosecutor or a politician? Do you want someone who has spent his career enforcing the law or someone who has spent his career navigating the system? Do you want someone who has already proven he can take on corruption, or someone who benefits from the very structure that needs reform?
The evidence is in. The record is clear. South Carolina does not need another politician. South Carolina needs a prosecutor.
And that’s why I’m asking for your vote
