From Zoka Forest, where trees are older than borders, comes Uganda’s wild ZOKA Coffee untamed, resilient, a manifest of strength & survival. Grown natural, picked by hands that know the trees.
Wild by nature. Strong by origin. Every bean, a survivor. Every cup, a story.
@EUinUG
Nature & health are tied closer than most people admit your body & mind literally reset when you’re outside in nature.
Nature itself is the best physician.
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
Let Nature Walk be part of your menu.
Why has data become so expensive in UG? Why shd @mtnug or @Airtel_Ug upgrade a customer to another bundle when it is hard for one to afford.
The speed at which the data consumption is high. Why shd data be made to expire? Who accounts for the money spent?

Thank you @DailyMonitor and @waromokello for highlighting the UNTAPPED potential of #WestNile#TOURISM
The vision is clear as articulated by the Hon Minister of @MTWAUganda the Hon Tom Butime. The contradiction however is the luck of interest in destination development by @TourismBoardUg despite clarity in the plans to diversify Uganda’s tourism offerings in terms of products and destinations.
Earlier efforts by #USAID and #GIZ have clearly documented what needs to be done; 1. Invest in development of products & capabilities as the multiple attractions remain mere potential. 2. Create awareness and publicity to address the issues of negative perception and generate interest in investment, community embracing tourism and tourist visits
We have through our various campaigns detailed the 6 As of tourism of Accommodation, Attractions, Activities, Amenities, Awareness & Accessibility
A lot of efforts are underway with various local tour operators coming up in Westnile, accommodation facilities with great amenities being put in place, various products, circuits and stakeholders collaboration networks are being developed.
@arralodges is one of such fit for purpose tourist grade lodges in WestNile https://t.co/Djdi46c7iS
We have developed a clear vision for WestNile tourism which we hope to sell to key stakeholders especially @TourismBoardUg
See here in this blog https://t.co/TjvOYKHW9A
Through @arralodges we have been running the #VisitWestline campaign drum interest and amplify the voices
We are now focusing on high value speciality products like the #RaceTheNileUltra cycling race
Here is the web site for the international race to happen in November 2026.
We are developing more #MICE activities to high profile Westnile and spark action

@ugwildlife has done great for WestNile for reintroduction of the #WhiteRhino our heritage but it will be futile as tourists don’t visit for Rhinos alone but rather a complex integrated well linked services

Exciting progress at the Kidepo Valley Conservation Area (KVCA)!
UWA has launched a new Rhino Sanctuary with support from the @EU NaturAfrica Kidepo-Turkana Landscape Project, a major step toward restoring Uganda’s rhino population.
In addition, a Joint Operations Command Centre has been commissioned and motorcycles deployed to strengthen field patrols paving the way for rhino reintroduction.
We thank our partners and local communities for driving this impactful work.

Chimpanzee Census Results.
We’re proud to share that UWA, in partnership with @JaneGoodallInst, has today officially unveiled the results of the 2025 Chimpanzee Census in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The inaugural census, conducted in two sweeps between May and September 2025, estimates a total population of 426 chimpanzees in the park.
This milestone marks an important step in strengthening conservation efforts and deepening our understanding of chimpanzee populations in Bwindi.

UWA ED: Dr. James Musinguzi
The Chimpanzee census findings highlight the strategic importance that provides robust evidence about the presence, distribution, and status of chimpanzees in Bwindi, aiding in evidence-based park management and conservation efforts.
The results underscore the need for sustained protection efforts and collaboration with surrounding communities, emphasizing the value of intact park sections in supporting viable chimpanzee populations.
.@Kalinaki: Whoever called the shot lacked the testicular fortitude to own it, as well as the decorum to subject it, even circumstantially, to due process. Isn't it ironic when lawmakers act outside the laws they write and pass? https://t.co/ou2iwtXjLP
