This is deeply concerning. Treasury published an $88,000 error in its own capital-gains-tax example and it reportedly took outside tax professionals and Financial Review journalists to expose it. Treasury has since admitted the mistake and said the document will be corrected. These are the same people helping design increasingly complex tax laws that Australians, accountants and businesses will be legally required to follow.
When even Treasury cannot correctly apply the rules in its own worked example, perhaps the problem is not the taxpayer, the problem is rushed, needlessly complicated legislation. Australia needs simpler taxation, proper consultation and a government that values competence over ideological tax grabs.

🟠 AMERICA HAS TURNED HMAS STIRLING INTO A US NAVY BASE AND IT'S THE BEST DEFENCE NEWS WE'VE HAD IN YEARS, EXCEPT LABOR IS TOO SCARED TO CALL IT A BASE. 🟠
The US Navy stood up Naval Support Activity Stirling in May, the exact label it gives its major overseas bases in Bahrain and Naples, and now says 2,300 Americans will be in WA by 2030 supporting its submarines, nearly double the number Canberra admitted to.
Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy declared the deal would end in 2032, then spent days walking it back to "enduring", because Labor's left flank can't cope with the word base.
We say be proud of it. A superpower is anchoring its most lethal submarines, and the families that come with them, to the defence of Western Australia.
And the 500 homes being lined up for the incoming Americans? One Nation's Tyron Whitten and Luke Herdegen, campaigning next door in Secret Harbour, say Aussie tradies should be the ones building them.

Anthony Albanese is at it again. This time the Daily Mail exposed him. Caught him using taxpayers dough to fly his missus and son here there and everywhere.
His son is an adult and has a high paying job. https://t.co/OnH6pYupRI
Albanese is now the most hated PM in Australian history.
His latest disclosure flying his family around on tax money & paying for his holiday just makes it worse.
Nothing he says is believed because he is a compulsive liar.
Labor will move on him before the next election.
🟠 #BREAKING: THE SMH GOT CAUGHT. THE EXPEDIA RECEIPTS ARE OUT AND THE HANSON HOTEL STORY IS DEAD 🟠
The SMH claimed this morning that Pauline Hanson used party funds on a $900 a night London hotel and left the rooms empty for five nights while she was in Italy, all on the word of two sources it won't name. The Expedia receipts, now with https://t.co/YLWTw7yy9G, show the booking was changed.
The money is even less of a story: party funds paid, lawfully, with no rule broken on the SMH's own admission, and the Fire the Liar donations never left their term deposit. Not one cent came from taxpayers.
Hanson had a message for whoever leaked her bookings: "Sources who lie should be outed, Paul Sakkal. They only make you look sloppy."

7/12 — THE COMMONWEALTH PAID THE UNIONS $11.34 MILLION. THE UNIONS PAID LABOR $15.68 MILLION. SAME YEAR.
Both figures come from the unions’ own returns to the Australian Electoral Commission for 2024-25.
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations was the single largest external payer into the union movement that year. The Labor Party was the largest recipient of what came out.
There is no traceable line between the two.
Money is fungible, government payments are grants and training contracts, and departments fund delivery through peak bodies as a matter of routine. Union dues, the largest source of union income by far, are not in either figure.
What I can tell you is that the department reports to the government, and the payments out went to the party forming it.
One more line from the same year. A Victorian government department paid the CFMEU $1,462,650 in 2024-25, while that union was under Commonwealth administration.
I built a larger picture around these numbers and pulled it, because two methods of categorising the inflows gave me answers fifty per cent apart, and I will not publish a figure I cannot reproduce twice.
These two I can. They are single payers and single recipients, named on lodged returns.
Cold Hard Facts. Corrected when wrong. No missing.
What’s your thoughts…?

My God… this is horrific 💔
🚨 Sister Recounts Horrifying Moment her Brother Wept as he was being prepped to have his Organs Harvested
Donna Rhorer— “TJ was crying on the operating table, his eyes were tracking me and they told me it was just reflexes— then during the heart cath, he was thrashing and crying, grabbing the doctors hands to stop him”… as they were preparing to harvest his organs after he had been FALSELY declared brain-dead.
TJ, who survived was present in the audience crying uncontrollably…

Bill Gates held a top secret Q Clearance for 7 years, through the entire pandemic. He’s not an elected official. He’s not a scientist at NIH. He’s just a very wealthy private citizen who helped shaped the government’s COVID response.

Literally every single politician on the left and right, including 95% of the media, are against One nation and Pauline Hanson,
Yet, they currently have the highest party vote out of all of them
This is grassroots
This is what they are terrified of
Criticism is not vilification.
If your religion is oppressive, dangerous, violent, regressive, incompatible, antagonistic, misogynistic, abusive and in other ways contrary to the ordinary way of life - then the fault if yours, as a human being, for choosing to follow it.
Saying something is 'a religion' does not give it immunity to rejection.
Or even condemnation.
That is why we dismissed blasphemy laws.
And why it is so dangerous that our government is restoring them without consent.
Put it this way:
If you set up a temple in the middle of the city and start making sacrifices out of citizens, then yes, your religion should be condemned and banned.
Your religion has become a concern to public health.
The Aztecs were a valid faith for an entire civilisation. The argument is not about how faithfully the views are held, how old the gods are, or the depth of its cultural history. It makes no difference. It has no place in our world. None. We would see no issue with saying so.
There is one religion today that has asserted itself as dangerous to Western Civilisation through its actions, through its teachers, and through the behaviour of its followers.
The things we have seen and heard are simply not acceptable.
They are barbaric.
It takes moral courage to stand up and say - sorry, your faith is below our entry-level standards.
The Christian spirit under which the West was built, and the secular layering that came after, has given far too much accommodation to ideas that cannot live peacefully beside it.
It is arrogance to assume peace will always manifest and a serious error in judgement to offer almost untouchable protections to those faiths that do not deserve them.
Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Turkey, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These Countries used to be Christian.
When skinny little snot nosed 12 year olds can kill you for stepping in to stop a fight, the lesson here is not to treat the skinny snot nosed kid like a 12 year old.
The lesson is, if you step in to help, you drop those sacks of shit so fkn hard that if they survive they'll be eating out of a tube the rest of their useless, pointless pathetic lives.
FK I hate this lack of justice 🤬🤬🤬
If Pauline Hanson was elected and carried out her agenda within one year Australia would be a far better place to live.
Gov't out of our lives prosperity returns to the battler.
Bureaucrats dumped by the thousands.
No more destroying of this country for one little madman's obsession with a fairy tale.
Net Zero.
Taylor would automatically do as bureaucracy tells him .
Like they have for decades.
It is time to get rid of the uniparty Australia.
Kudos to Karl for giving Senator Malcolm Roberts a chance to set the record straight
As a scientist who loves facts supported by data it’s infuriating to see him misrepresented!
Notice they never once pulled up his Senate work.
The media fixates on Alex Jones Sandy Hook mistake. Even though Roberts has said time and time again that Jones got it wrong.
Yet mum’s the word on the Uniparty issues they did agree on - Covid, the climate scam and digital ID control.
But the people aren’t stupid.
They’ve seen through the deliberate smear campaign.
Record homelessness, soaring energy costs and a chronic shortage of housing are squeezing working families from every direction. Australia needs policies that increase housing supply, deliver affordable and reliable energy and ensure population growth is matched by the homes and infrastructure needed to support it.
Albanese offloaded $5 million plus worth of property at the peak of the market before changing the rules and doing over mums and dads who just purchased a home and now owe more than the home is worth. Negative equity.
Labor and Liberal have become shades of each other. Neither offers a real plan. Australians have had a gutful of promises that are never kept and empty rhetoric. One Nation will turn it around. #OneNation#australia
