The President of the Somali Red Crescent Society, Mr Yusuf Hassan Mohamed, welcomed today, in Garowe the Africa Regional Director of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Mr. Charles Bisungi, accompanied by the Head of Delegation for Kenya and Somalia, Ms. Naemi Heita,

The Director visited the Garowe Branch office where he met with the branch staff and toured the offices as well as the newly constructed guest house. He was briefed about the progress of construction work. The delegation later visited the volunteers' center where they met with the volunteers and witnessed different volunteer activities.
