Considering education is a right to every child, and considering there should be fair grounds to all Kenyan children in access to education, I strongly propose to our Education CS Hon Machogu to consider extending the April holiday by one week

That means if schools resume on Monday, a number of Kenyan children will not be able to report back timely.

Some schools are submerged in water and need rehabilitation before learners resume learning. Some homes have been swept away, property destroyed, thousands displaced and so many other disruptions of ordinary life of thousands of Kenyans.
