I do think in Pakistan mosques are in the best location for libraries. Because there is a mosque in every neighbourhood even rural areas.
Imagine how nice it would be that people come for Asr after school or work and then after praying Asr read some books or do HW.
Yahya Sinwar, ex-leader of Hamas in Gaza, is a hero. It's mind boggling, that after all the iconography of rebel fighters fighting against the evil empire you see across western media, the western psyche is still unable to place Yahya Sinwar and Hamas in the same ranks. Instead, they accept wholesale the impotent terrorist-slop, non-state actor nonsense that mass media feeds them.
Equipped with next to nothing (like rocket launchers fashioned out of plumbing pipes), he took on the worlds most technologically advanced army. For years, they derided him as a billionaire who lived a life of luxury as the Gazans he used as "human shields" suffered. Instead, he spent his last hours (and really most of his life) in the battlefield. He was out surveying. Trekking through the post-apocalyptic hell-scape the once prosperous city of Rafah had been reduced to by the indiscriminate bombing of the Zionists. He's an old man, around 61 at this point. The wears of malnutrition and the general indicators that he has been deprived of an easy life are apparent on him.
Around him, the Zionist army patrols in tanks. They send drones out to survey areas. They are armed with some of the worlds most sophisticated weapons technology. Conversely, Sinwar's troop only has what it could scrape together in the siege-ridden, resource starved Gaza strip. Ultimately, the Zionists spot him and (not even realizing who he is) fire tank artillery at the building. His compatriots are killed instantly, but Sinwar, with a broken arm and a body full of shrapnel survives. He fashions a tourniquet out of electrical wire to stop himself bleeding out and prepares for a last stand. In a final moment of poetic irony, the Israelis send in a drone to secure the area. And so, Yahya Sinwar, a human being, made of flesh and blood, faces off against an unfeeling machine, made of metal and silicone. And that, in some sense, is a microcosm of the entire conflict. Sinwar, with what is no doubt the last ounce of strength in his body, hurls the stick at the drone in a final act of defiance, and the drone operator, far removed from any danger, flinches, sending the drone momentarily of axis.
If this were a scene from a film, I have no doubt the audience would know who the hero was.
This of course, is still a profound reduction of a man, whom in many ways, has shaped the modern reality we find ourselves in. In launching the attack on October 7th, he fell the first Domino in a series that has given rise to the world today. Yahya Sinwar lit the fuse that resulted in the implosion of the previous world order. He is perhaps one of the most important people to have lived in the last 50 years and hence he is deserving of your attention.
@_youknowwho_07 I didn't argue specifically against gender studies but the whole paradigm associated with studying in contemporary era. Btw I have friends who took gender studies in their minor course, so I know what sh*t it is generally
You are allowed to do whatever you want to do. But if you want to take Quran's argument to support your studies, you must have to do it while fulfilling the obligations set by the same Quran. You can't cherry pick based on your false assumptions.
Studying any program allows one to polish skills in researching, writing and concluding thought experiments, a skill that can be extended to any field once mastered. Pretty clown behaviour to mock the term “Iqra” like that when it only asks the bare minimum of reading.
In DHA, a bank (won't name it) doesn't even provide chair to their security guards standing in this heat. When i inquired, the guard said " Hamen bethne ki ijazat nahi hai" . Kya hoga hamara
Worst is when I see security guards in their nylon clothes sitting outside on chairs in the heat while the buildings they’re ‘protecting’ have AC’s running 24/7.
Brilliant job by @mohammed_hijab completely humiliating Adnan Rajeet and dismantling his double standards.
Also brilliant job by Adnan Rajeet in humiliating himself 🤣😂😂
Another step toward a better Karachi.
The restoration and beautification of Mission Road are now underway.
Alongside infrastructure upgrades, efforts to enhance the city’s aesthetics are progressing at full pace.
On the directives of Mayor @murtazawahab1 , restoration and beautification work continues swiftly across the city.
Karachi don't have Safe City System
Karachi don't even have Rescue 1122 System
Int Sindh Literacy Rate less than 50%
Baby Bhutto couldn't fix anything in 20 + years
Bharkain Parliament Main Asisay Martay Jaisey Sher Shah Suri Ki Ulad Hai
Imagine no functioning 1122 service by Sindh govt in Karachi and city is left to NGOs. If this is not a failed province then tell me what is? Shame on State of Pakistan to ignore and left city of Quaid to vultures
South Korea’s men’s national hockey team will visit Pakistan from July 27 to August 9 for a training camp in Islamabad and a series of practice matches against Pakistan’s national team.
