Shekhar ji, I first saw you nearly twelve years ago at my son’s Foundation Day at The Doon School. Back then, I saw you as a journalist who understood both the Hindi-speaking heartland and the English-speaking public with equal ease.
What disappointed me over the years was your repeated description of Narendra Modi’s crude, divisive, and often coarse speeches as examples of “good oratory.” In doing so, you seemed to lend legitimacy to a style of political communication that normalized vulgarity and lowered the standards of public discourse.
Today, you are speaking up for this young woman, even if in a measured and understated way. That is welcome. But it is also true that many influential voices, including yours, played a part, however unintentionally (!) in normalizing the political culture that has allowed intimidation and strong-arm tactics to flourish.
I suspect you know this, and perhaps even acknowledge it privately. Publicly admitting it, of course, is another matter.
So I have just one request: please stop calling vulgarity “good oratory.” Public discourse deserves a higher standard than that.
Stop everything that you are doing and watch this video carefully.
If you are busy now, bookmark it and watch in the evening.
In just 8 minutes, you'll understand how Lok Sabha elections was manipulated with crores of fake voters across the country.
Even if you are a Modi supporter, this is your best opportunity to stand on the right side of history. True patriotism means seeking the truth, not hiding from it. Watch it, and decide for yourself. @RahulGandhi

Hello @amitmalviya, Thanks for exposing @ECISVEEP again by sharing their voter ids.
The three people in the pic you shared ( Om Prakash Bagri, Saraswati Bagri and Mala Bagri) have two different EPIC id. One is registered in Mahadevpura and another in South Bengaluru & Cuttack.
1. EPIC numbers (SVF9456682, SVF9456690, SVF9456708) are from Mahadevpura as shown by Rahul Gandhi.
2. EPIC numbers (RDU4978128 & RDU4978136 from South Bangalore, YNY0628511 from Cuttack) as shown by their election ID.
How can someone have two EPIC numbers with different house locations @ECISVEEP@ceo_karnataka, please explain.
Do watch this heart wrenching interaction of this helpless little girl from West Bengal living in Gurugram with senior journalist @ajitanjum. This little girl's question left Ajit Anjum speechless. While most Indian News Anchors working in reputed News Channels are busy trying to divide the communities, Very few independent news channels and individual news reporters are actually doing ground reporting and trying to be the voice of the downtrodden. #Gurgaon
