Understanding Risk to Reward ✅

Risk to Reward Ratio(RRR) is way of measuring potential profit to potential loss . lets say you're risking $10K to make $30k, Meaning if you lose the trade you lose just $10K, if you win you make $30k, thats 1:3RR

Let's Calculate it
Using an $1000 account

Let's say you already have a Technical Edge, that gives you an average amount of Wins like 40% Win rate. That is like losing 6 trades out of 10 and just Winning only 4, you can still be profitable with this result if though it's Below average.

Example: L-L-W-L-W-L-L-W-W-L ❗️❗️

Now simple illustration 👇👇

If i take 10 trades , risking 1000$

With a minimum RR of 1:3R

If i lose 6 Trades, that is -6R = -$6,000

Then i won Just 4 trades thats 3R x 4 which is +12R = $12,000

$12,000 - $6000 = $6000

Total Profit for the month after losing 6 trades and winning 4 is $6,000 ( 40% win rate)🔥

From $6,000 you keep growing to 5 figures in the coming years, you wil experience DD , but Even if your win rate is 40% you will still end up in profit If you diligently follow the plan and maintain a fix risk on your account
