The World Record watch has reached critical levels 👀
Josh Kerr has unveiled on his YouTube Channel that he ripped a 2:42.45 1200m in preparation for the Mile World Record attempt at 5300ft of elevation in Albuquerque💀
For perspective - Hicham El Hicham El Guerrouj split 2:47.9 through the first three laps of his Mile WR back in 1999.
Watch Josh’s attempt tomorrow during London Diamond League LIVE on FloTrack at 10:36a ET!

For whatever it's worth...back in 2002, Hicham El Guerrouj blasted through 1200m in 2:44.75 after opening in 54.0 and 1:49.14 at a meet in Rieti, Italy. Been trying to find the video of it.
He ran the final parts solo in an unsuccessful bid to break his own world record. Still ran 3:26.96 (5th-fastest of his career and No. 8 performance on the all-time list).
Josh Kerr is fit.
@Jamesmolesruns@Brady_H The Novablast 5 for me seemed to be such a disappointment. I love the 4’s though. But might need to check out the 6’s. Suberblast 2 are 🔥
Working on my pacing. This is a progressive pace. Started very slow and allowed myself to creep up in 5 secs increments.
Really helps pacing discipline. @UKRunChat#ukrunchat
