[aaminah is excited for LFF @aaminahinfilm]

picturehouse membership changes:

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@CentralPictureH Thanks PH, give it less than 2 months and then announce a price hike from £100 to £250/yr for a Central membership.

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@CamzoOG It’s shocking. I was a ‘founding member’ at Central, and suddenly I’m expected to pay £250 instead of £100? No way PH, dressing it up as a monthly fee doesn’t sweeten this price hike.

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@grantisatwit It isn’t eligible for Oscars this year as it’s being released in the US in April.

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@HawkeyeWasTaken £72 here, boom! I just couldn’t see the appeal of Sweden, but even I was surprised by how badly it did with the public vote

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@AmonWarmann I agree. I have issues with her character but as a cis white man I’m not sure I’m best to comment. Also I’d love to know what Mexicans think of the film, and of the song where papa smelled of “cigars, guacamole and mezcal” in particular 😬

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@maljutley @BFI From the guy who missed Queer because of work- nice chatting to today before the film! Was a stunner, huh?

@AwardsDaily Any chance of Barbie taking ensemble?

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@CarlaDevine2020 You saw a different film. Second viewing and even more of a blubbering mess this time. Not alone in the cinema either time

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@Saint_nunes It keeps getting worse. I hate myself for watching to episode 8

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@sagar_bigsean France submitted The Taste of Things so don’t expect an international feature Oscar nomination! Still rooting for Sandra in lead actress though, she was fantastic and that fight scene reads Oscar clip to me!

[Dion Blackler @wassuphomes]

@slime__kitty Couldn’t agree more! That was dreadful! I hated Ferrari but wow, this was another league of terrible

What shall we do for the opening ceremony? I know, let’s recreate ‘Allo ‘Allo. Can we afford Jean Dujardin? Definitely. #RWC2023

@archiejamesssss @JackMovieBuff @BFI If you go to the BFI LFF site (not regular BFI or BFI Southbank, google the festival) it takes you to a queue page

@GavinMoores @WMarshallCCA @bet365 £50 would have been nice. Ah well, at least they didn’t completely void, I would have been livid if I had 4/4 and got nothing
