Kenyan activist and journalist Boniface Mwangi @bonifacemwangi was abducted this morning from his home by men in army uniforms.

But we wanted details: how big and where/how do VCs make money?

In our latest, Ona and I examined Venture Backable FemTech Models in Africa.

Our analysis uncovered a $136bn industry with significant whitespace to build in Oncology and geographic whitespace in several markets.

We analyzed verticals and companies building for:

- Menstrual health
- Contraception
- Gyn and pelvic testing
- Oncology
- Maternal health

And discovered a few guiding principles to create solutions that drive venture-scale returns (Silicon Valley model).
