PSA: Israel is not an ethnostate. 21% of the population is Arab, and 18% of the population is Muslim. Non Jews have the same rights under the law as Jews in Israel, and both Arabs AND Muslims serve in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament). Furthermore, 2% of the population of Israel is Christian, and there are literally Christians serving in the Knesset as well.

Christians worship more freely, and with less fear of persecution in Israel than in any Muslim nation, and many non-Muslim nations.

By contrast, there are less than 27,000 Jews living in all Muslim nations COMBINED across the Middle East. They do not have the same rights as Muslims in those nations. They are heavily persecuted, and their numbers dwindle every year.

No, Israel is not an ethnostate. It is, however, a place where Jews can defend themselves without having to rely on non-Jewish governments that often look away when violence is perpetrated against them (Australia anyone?)

If you call Israel an ethnostate you're either ignorant, or you're intentionally trying to malign them. Neither is a good look.
