No shade on the NHS or the wonderful people that work there… but fuck this country and fuck government. My 82 year old dad lay for 16 hours waiting on an ambulance yesterday. 16 hours in agony, 16 hours unable to eat or go to the toilet. I’m ashamed to call the UK my home.

Thank you in advance. He’s based in Glasgow but Edinburgh wouldn’t be out the question. If you can even just share this thread to get as many hopefully helpful eyes on it x

Can anyone help? We’ve tried all the private hospitals in Glasgow to see if they can take him for a weeks intensive therapy to get him moving enough to get home, but they can’t. Can anyone help with recommendations/solutions, anything to help get my dad out of where he is now
