@BradRTorgersen You’re a dick. Using someone else’s preferred pronouns is being respectful. The LDS church started the I’m a Mormon campaign then changed their mind. Stop bullying transgender people.
@ChristoffDTodd Great! I’m so happy my tithing goes to pay for your world travels. Places I will never see because I’m poor and told to sacrifice what little I have to pay tithing. This church is a pyramid scheme.
@Sarahsred7 Sweet lady, if you decide to follow something blindly, even when others try to warn you it’s false, it’s your own fault. “Faith is not the belief in something despite the evidence.”
@jesse_k_fox So, you’re happy to discuss it as long as no one disagrees with you? Sounds like you are more interested in blind faith than evidence. “Faith is NOT the belief in something despite the evidence.”
@Primary_Pianist That’s not it. The LDS Church actually believes they have ALL the truth and power. We know Joseph didn’t translate the Book of Mormon or Abraham. He made them up. DNA and scholarship proves this.
@PeacemakingSt@BednarDavidA His victim-blaming: “It ultimately is impossible for another person to offend you or to offend me. Indeed, believing that another person offended us is fundamentally false. To be offended is a choice we make…”
@OaksDallinH And apparently not to ever criticize the church leadership, even when they are wrong. Not being able to question leadership is cult-like behavior.
@OaksDallinH Sure. I battled cancer and asked for food and bill assistance, for the first time in my 48 years as a member. I was made to fill out goals for finding employment. I was employed, just sick. This church is a joke.
@Sarahsred7 Sarah, the Book of Mormon is full of anachronisms that the church tries to explain away. They excommunicate anyone who points them out, especially the lack of DNA evidence. The Book of Mormon is fiction. So is everything else.
@Apologetics941 They changed where Cumorah was located when no archaeological evidence existed to support a great battle where millions died. They’ll keep making up stuff to keep their members hope alive.
@DoBetter_ Yep. It’s a corporation. Billions of dollars given in all-expenses paid leadership, while they preach to their members to sacrifice what little money they have to pay for it. They don’t even need tithing anymore.
@JasontheLayman Joseph wanted money and power. He was a known treasure hunter. He used people’s hope to line his pockets and “revelations” to spread fear when people questioned his motives.
