@signulll Agree. Voice is too much of a cognitive load. The problem with gui is that mouse and keyboards are quite the motor load on the body and long days of that work fatigues the body, which is a fatigue on the mind as well. There has to be a better solution or a combination of both.
@signulll i used to work with a guy who said "i've forgotten more than they've ever known." i now understand what he was saying. there's something of the unconscious that files away old memories. not forgotten but not useful in present state.
@levelsio I think of it like survival level exertion. Your nervous system feels like you had a near death experience and you get that feeling of euphoria like you cheated death.
@xiaowang1984 We're basically paying for the redesign of the grid. Anytime you rebuild and redesign something it costs more. People don't realize how disjointed this redesign is and that's why it costs so much.
@nateliason I have five kids. I do feel a bit stretched right now. The 4 oldest are 11-18 and they all want or need my individual attention. I do feel like I know them all individually. No problem there.
