Ragpickers Dream

Nothing to see here. Carry on.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@DwightYoakam Looking forward to seeing Dwight in the Mississippi Delta Thursday night. Let’s sing Dixie 🎶

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@raywylie If I hear Benmont Tench on a Ray Wylie record, I’ll blow a fuse. Rock on, you ole wizard!

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@DwightYoakam This is on Billy Bob Thornton’s “Hobo”.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@iCyclone I’m driving through a light snow shower up here in north Mississippi

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@EntergyMS @NWSJacksonMS Is Entergy storm ready?

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@OxfordPolice Model police department!

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@iCyclone @MEKowalski An old Mississippi blues man once sang,

“Don’t let ‘em tamper with your temper or fool with your cool”

Just rock on …… 🎶🎶🎶

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@DHSgov The public generally doesn’t read the discussions and they should not have to. Is this the best that can be done for public information? Of course not. You aren’t doing your job.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@MSHwyPatrol Beautiful car and a perfect backdrop!

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@martystuarthq Superlative!

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@shadwhite Maybe their kids wanted to play volleyball.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@tatereeves Because making Mississippi respectable is a long row to hoe. Stop whining and get back to work.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@RussLatino This is the first article I’ve read of yours that seems level-headed. Keep up the good work.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@iCyclone @JamesHardie Edit: It’ll *raise* the humidity. 🤭 you know what I’m saying

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@iCyclone @JamesHardie Hey Josh I’ve thought about referring a special song to you several times and this time I’m acting on that thought.

“Mississippi You’re On My Mind”
by Jesse Winchester. Pull up the studio version on YouTube and get goosebumps. It’ll also rise the humidity level instantly

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@jimmybuffett Wow this stirred my soul. Thanks for sharing.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@ReedTimmerUSA @StormChaserChad I’ll be watching y’all like a hawk from Grenada.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@ReedTimmerUSA It’s foolish.

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@LyleLovett I saw your acoustic quartet (?) at Ole Miss in the old Fulton Chapel building in the mid 90’s. It was dead of winter and the water circulating through the cast iron radiators fit your music beautifully. Thanks for that and other great memories!

[Ragpickers Dream @watusilou]

@ryanhallyall Ryan, the storm chasing community is in dire need of added professionalism and leadership. If you don’t take the reins, someone else will. Step up to the plate! Wishing you all the best.
