Welcome to the final day of the 2025 St. Richard's Canal Festival. We wind up at 5pm this evening. We have our fabulous duck race at around 4.30pm where hundreds of ducks make their way down the River Salwarpe from the weir to the first bridge.
Here's the entertainment line up and other info for Alvechurch Picnic in the Park on Sunday 26th May. Fingers well and truly crossed that the rain stays away. Free entry.
Our society volunteers will be in attendance. Please come along and support us.
@worcscc Canal towpaths! Tardebigge to Alvechurch hasn't been touched in years. The earth collapse at Shortwood Tunnel hasn't been sorted and the towpath has been blocked for months.
The Worcester-Birmingham & Droitwich Canals Society

@WestMidRailway I'm not sure why you're asking us to diagnosis a problem with the lifts on the station? They were out of action on Tuesday. Not been back since.
