Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, the man who was flung from a Six Flags rollercoaster in Georgia, survived a car fire just a few weeks ago.

🚨Falsely Accused of Shoplifting by Walmart Loss Prevention and detained by the police. They were so sure he was guilty. -- They were wrong.

Travis Heinze, a veteran known for auditing public rights, was wrongfully detained by police at a Walmart in Truth or Consequences, NM, after loss prevention falsely accused him of shoplifting on camera.

The security team failed to realize Heinze used Walmart’s "Scan & Go" app to pay for all his items directly on his smartphone.

Because he didn't check out at a traditional register, staff assumed he was stealing.

Despite Heinze explaining the app's functionality and demanding to see the video evidence, Officer Jeff Bloomquist detained him anyway.

They had to release him once he got two bars on his phone and was able to show them his receipt for all of the items Walmart claimed had been stolen.
