#b3d New NLA and animation improvements and more of the hard work from @wbmoss2 showing up and getting closer to a fully usable system. https://t.co/UzEGOKLA2M and library overrides support NLA (have to test how much) https://t.co/IvrH2UxjTg #animtip#rigtip#b3d
IK rigging super basics in Blender- just wanted to share the most useful thing I finally bothered to learn last year, and was seriously a great slippery slope towards learning more about rigging in general! #b3d
@bclark_cgchar@sastuvel@lucianomunoz_ @bayraitt @danulrich2 bake speed: https://t.co/UvonwUHynH which can be optimized even further for heavy scenes.
For the bake limitation. It's not a bug, just a thing that seems like it was initially intended to bake constraints and thus only transforms mattered
fastest NLA merge op: D8867
The FX tutorial is finally finished! Check it out here: https://t.co/mAhrAEYCd0
I also put up a completed file (this GIF) on gumroad:
https://t.co/BFnoJL27ll
Tutorial has #blender nodes and a BEER shader!
Working on a tutorial for this type of effect, but it's a bit complicated. What's the best format for a tutorial?
Don't really wanna do a video, maybe I'll do a proper write-up, I don't think a 20-tweet-long thread is any good for reading lol
Attention Blender riggers, the proposal is *live*. I poured my heart into this one. Get the display axis to be positioned at the base/pivot/origin of the bone. Set this on fire. Make some noise. #b3d#rigging#animation#overkill@BlenderDev@BlenderToday https://t.co/tkgqWLKfcf
There is also new a Fill Components operation for Face Sets.
It is useful for creating layouts where you can quickly switch between affecting the entire hair, individual hair sections or individual strands by changing automasking options. #b3d#devfund
Okay I uh- think she's done? Have at er friendos!

I'd like this to be available to as many people as possible so if you'd like to share that'd help spread the word around :)

@TheLoneCyclist @blendermarket I'd love to see proper native editable motion trails in Blender. Currently my focus is on the NLA system and experimenting with improved visual keying and baking to/from rigs.
I did an animation with Zelda's rig that I'd like to share with ya'll! I hope you like it.
Zelda rig by @artstoff , ported to blender by @Soranin422
Check them out! They got a buncha cool stuff for you to see as well.

So excited to test this soon https://t.co/xacZGwZnyN from @wbmoss2#b3d NLA improvement for clip transform and offset of animation. You don't know how much you need this.
