@MikeWingerii Your equating yourself with Jesus in this logic and that’s not clever. Jesus, as judge who KNOWS the human heart, when He judges, as He has authority to it isn’t insults, it’s facts. We do not have that knowledge so shouldn’t be using Jesus acts of judgement as excuse to insult.
@AngAesthetics It is incredibly uncharitable and really disappointing CC is going down that route. To then paywall the video just adds further bizarreness to it as well. He needs to apologise to Gavin and take some time away from social media I think.
@glenscrivener I try to avoid X these days but my goodness that image, clearly blasphemy - and what’s just as disturbing is seeing people with Christian in their bio defending this. God will not be mocked.
There is a lot of people who profess themselves Christian who need to reflect on the parable of the unforgiving servant today.
Forgiveness is hard, miraculous even, it is unlocked by the power of grace knowing how much we have been forgiven.
Absolutely horrified that we are in an age where we have to seriously say to Christians - Don't use Nazi gestures to try to be cool! What on earth has happened to our discernment?
There is so much cruelty in the world. As Christians, let's not add to it. Our methods matter. Even when we are opposing evil, snark and pushiness and humiliating others are not the way. We advance Christ's work with patience, persuasion, wholesomeness, and love.
Why are there so many undiagnosed adults who are only now discovering that they're either autistic, adhd, or neurodivergent in some way?
I can explain...
There are many folks learning they are, to use the twitter phrase #ActuallyAutistic later in life. It’s been helpful engage with people here and get a deeper understanding of others experiences.
For the longest time I’ve been learning lots about autism and breaking down in my mind inaccurate stereotypes. As I did so I realised it describes much of my experiences. In September last year I was diagnosed as #autistic and have been learning what that means.
I recently did the #EmbraceAutism course led and designed by autistic people from @AKDScotland and @AutismScotland which was incredibly helpful. It’s been a privilege to recently share my experiences there publicly which is a core reason I’ve decided to share this more openly now
I will never comprehend how people can view disabled children in this way. There are some who argue people dont think like Jeff here, I wish that was the case.
To be clear - ALL are made in the image of God, Jeff that is you, it is also my child!.
@wjhayes It seems so! It’s horrifying, listening to him speak about this stuff, especially considering mental health services are on their knees, it’s so bonkers part of me thinks it’s a skit!
Making the disabled a scapegoat as an election pledge is a hideously sinister and evil use of power. I cannot fathom what Sunak is thinking with this stuff.
