@CrankyFed The former is, ironically, more likely to hang up on the council (but only after they get insulting). The second doesn’t like politicians, but knows that bypassing them too much is just anarchy. (Fits being spacer/sole survivor, I figure they’ve seen plenty of the alternative.)

@CrankyFed I usually played paragon in idealist form (colonist/war hero), where being a Spectre gives him authority to follow his better instincts. Give that merc a second chance, etc.
Sometimes I did a more by-the-book paragon. If the merc dies resisting arrest, it’s on them.

@KenShepherd Our federal arrangement is also fairly different from Canada’s, in some areas more centralized and in other areas less. Any hypothetical accession would take a lot of study for how the legal and regulatory gaps could be bridged.

@Thinkwert And half the time I have that dream, it includes a sense that my college and graduate degrees will be nullified if I don’t redo that semester of high school. Also, it’s near the end of the semester and I can’t remember my class schedule or which rooms the classes are in.
