The Osun State Government has appointed Afrobeats star David Adeleke (Davido) as Chairman of the Osun Sports Trust Fund, part of efforts to revamp sports infrastructure and complete the ongoing Osogbo Township Stadium renovation.

Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi said Davido’s appointment is expected to attract investments and partnerships that will boost sports growth in the state. Plans are also underway to establish the Osun State Sports Commission to oversee sports administration and policy development.
