A core conservative principle is that we don't need higher taxes. Mary Smith does not agree with this. On 4/8/26 she publicly said she is 100% open to raising property taxes.

When asked, "Ms Smith, will you raise taxes at any point in your four year term? Yes or No?" Mary Smith laughed and then dodged the question, answering like a tax and spend liberal, saying "Always the last resort."

Andy Marshall on the other hand did not eqivocate in his opposition to raising taxes. Marshall answered like a Conservative should with a solid "No."

Mary Smith's willingness to rasie taxes if elected Williamson County Mayor raises a lot of questions but proves one thing: Mary Smith is not conservative.

Last week Team Taylor is racked up the miles traveling across TN-09! And we are JUST getting started to Take Tennessee to the Top!

Tennesseans want a fighter who WINS and never backs down, and my message is resonating. It’s one thing to say you’re a fighter, and it’s another thing to actually accomplish the mission.

In Tennessee’s Senate, I sponsored legislation to tackle crime, hold our state’s only Soros-funded district attorney accountable, require sheriffs to enter into 287(g) agreements with ICE and force them to hold arrested illegal aliens for the full 48 hour detainer so ICE can come pick them up, and impede China from buying farmland or mineral rights.

TN-09 needs a Congressman with a winning record, and that’s why I’m the only candidate to have the endorsements of both Senator Marsha Blackburn and Senator Bill Hagerty; Congressmen Diana Harshbarger, Tim Burchett, Chuck Fleischmann, and Matt Van Epps; every state Senator touching the district; and nearly every state Representative.

These endorsers and I don’t agree on everything, but these endorsements do show that I will work with whomever will help me Take Tennessee to the Top under President Trump’s America First Agenda.
