If floating from Romanza Johnson Park, you will need to takeout prior to going underneath the Twin Bridges at Phil Moore Park until approximately 4pm. Thanks for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you on the water!
Just a reminder to all of our Memorial Day Patrons at Phil Moore Park this weekend. Saturday will be the Operation Anvil WWII Reenactment. Creek access at Phil Moore Park will be restricted to the main facility side.
You will not be able to use the takeout point on the Olde Stone side of the park until after the reenactment completes is 2nd battle of the day and clears the battlefield, usually around 4pm.
We are back into Yellow Flag conditions. All access points at Phil Moore Park and Romanza Johnson Park are open. Currents in some sections of the creek may still be strong, be mindful and use caution.
With water discharge approaching red flag conditions, we are going to close access points at Phil Moore Park (on both sides of the park) until the discharge rate takes a dip back towards yellow flag conditions.
Romanza Johnson Park remains closed due to the road closure.
Discharge rate has slowed enough to move Drakes Creek back into Yellow Flag conditions. Access points will be reopened today. As always, please remain safe, responsible, and respectful!
Another reminder, Drakes Creek access on the Olde Stone side of Phil Moore Park will be closed off for Operation Anvil until after the event concludes sometime around 4:00pm on Saturday May 24th. Romanza Johnson remains closed due to the road condition.
