Formally Verifiable Modular zkFHE Database for Agent Era

[WDB Labs @wdbdev]

We’re thrilled to share that #WAO, the lightning-fast testing framework for AO and HyperBEAM, battle-tested at @weave_db, has been acquired by @ArweaveOasis🎉

They’re the perfect team to double down on our endeavour to build the best dev environment and grow a robust community🚀

🎉ArweaveOasis completes asset acquisition of WAO developer platform from WeaveDB

Singapore, November 12, 2025 — ArweaveOasis(@ArweaveOasis) today announced it has completed the asset acquisition of WAO (Wizard AO, @WaoEco), a developer platform previously operated by WeaveDB(@weave_db). The transaction covers WAO-related intellectual property and supporting assets, including source code, documentation, trademarks, and domains. Following the acquisition, WAO will remain available to AO/HyperBEAM developers. ArweaveOasis will work with the ecosystem to strengthen stability and onboarding experience to further lower the barrier to building.

To ensure a smooth transition, WAO’s original author Tomoya Nagasawa(@TomoDB) will provide part-time consulting during the transition period, supporting maintenance, compatibility updates, and developer documentation. Tomoya remains the founder of WeaveDB. This announcement relates to an asset deal and does not involve any change in WeaveDB’s corporate ownership or control.

Gerry Wang(@GerryWon), founder of ArweaveOasis, said:

“Real ecosystem growth happens when more developers can ship faster. WAO’s architecture aligns closely with our long-term vision for developer community building. Acquiring WAO gives builders a practical, ready-to-use entry point that reduces the learning and integration costs for AO/HyperBEAM. We appreciate Tomoya’s continued support as a consultant during the transition, and we’ll focus on hardening stability and simplifying the first-run experience to deliver visible improvements to the community quickly.”

Tomoya Nagasawa(@TomoDB), original author of WAO, said:

“WAO was created to accelerate building on Arweave(@ArweaveEco), AO(@aoTheComputer), and HyperBEAM with an intuitive API, lightning-fast testing, and an SDK for extending HyperBEAM with external integrations. It has been battle-tested for a year through WeaveDB development and proven to streamline the developer experience. Through my involvement in Arweave Japan and India, I realized that an efficient and accessible development environment is key to ecosystem growth. Gerry and the ArweaveOasis team have the right position, mindset, and execution to elevate WAO and the developer ecosystem to the next stage, and I’m excited to continue supporting them in expanding the community across Asia.”

Developer impact and near-term plan

· No service interruption: WAO remains available; existing entry points and documentation stay online.
· Temporary private repo (transition): To complete security remediation and IP housekeeping, the WAO GitHub repository will be temporarily private during the transition; open-sourcing will resume after compliance review (target window: D+30).
· Easier onboarding: We will progressively improve the developer flow, templates, and tutorials to reduce ramp-up time.

About WAO

WAO (Wizard AO, @WaoEco) is a lightweight developer and testing platform for the AO/HyperBEAM ecosystem, offering an end-to-end toolchain and example templates from initialization through integration, enabling faster learning, building, and testing.

About ArweaveOasis

Founded in February 2024, ArweaveOasis(@ArweaveOasis) is a vertical media and developer-community platform focused on the Arweave/AO ecosystem. Through content, events, and tools, it lowers barriers to entry, expands the developer base, and drives real-world adoption. The community counts 2.3k+ subscribers to date, with nearly one thousand in-person attendees across multiple East Asian cities. ArweaveOasis continues to publish bilingual (Chinese/English) developer materials and maintains close, long-term collaboration with official ecosystem organizations.

#WeaveDB is about to unlock countless novel use cases for zk-proofs & Arweave🪄

Permanent #IPFS will be on #Arweave. All you need is a CID to query off-chain JSON from blockchains.

Even NFTs from 2018 will retroactively gain zk verifiability as long as the tokenURI is ipfs://🤯

Introducing #zkIPFS🌐

#WeaveDB turns #Arweave into a permanent @IPFS node with zk verifiability.

Store JSON permanently & query from anywhere🪄

#zkNFT lets Solidity contracts fetch offchain metadata via #zkCID (ipfs://).

8/ The Verifiable Data Economy☑️✅

❌ Devs pay
⭕️ Devs earn

Combining DePIN with Restaking, infra sustains itself.

Each DB is tokenized with a bonding curve.

Yields cover costs, operators & validators profit, and AI agents spin up autonomous DBs.
