I also think the more parents listen to @pureathleteinc podcast the better. It may take a group contract similar to what @JonHaidt recommends for smart phones.

2. Challenge them with new opportunities AND constructive feedback. (i.e., don't be afraid they will leave if you challenge with feedback)

3. Compensate them well.

This is how you create great employees as well.

Draw the “value chain” on a whiteboard live and watch them interact. 1-2 hours and you will know

@MikeBotkin_ @dklineii I like @dklineii survey a lot and believe it sheds light on the management team’s ability to engage their team. If the frontline isn’t aligned and engaged, it’s the first sign of opportunities with management team and often a blind spot to CEO unless they are close to frontline.
