SpaceXAI will run four free live Grok Bot workshops on Zoom this week, October 6-9.
Martin Lacsamana opens with Grok Bot 101 on Tuesday. Jenna Nanpei covers marketing workflows on Wednesday. The people building Grok Bot walk through what’s new on Thursday. Joseph Yang closes with Grok Bot 201 on Friday.
Each session runs 10-11 a.m. PT. Registration is free, and registrants who miss the live session get the recording. 👇
Neuralink participants have now generated more than 50,000 HOURS of unlabeled neural data
Neuralink is using thousands of hours of brain activity from each participant to pretrain neural encoders before cursor-control tasks
The goal is to make BCIs faster, more stable and require far less calibration over time
Neuralink is moving from decoding individual brain signals...
Toward building a scalable interface between the human brain and computers
🚨 MUSE ECOSYSTEM ALERT 🚨
today we are announcing Muse Gadgets!
this is an open-source ESP32 firmware and Linux SDK for anyone to make hardware that works with Muse
we are also releasing our own gadget—Muse Home Link—to enable your muse to work with your smart devices (TV, speakers, etc.)
We need a Nuremberg trial for Communists who killed far more people than the Nazis.
While the Nazis were defeated, the Communists are taking over the West. In America, they have taken over the Democratic Party!

In Leisure: The Basis of Culture, Pieper dismantles modernity's obsession with productivity and its misunderstanding of leisure.
Moderns think of "leisure" as a break from work: a way to recharge to make you a better worker.
Pieper argues beautifully that, instead, leisure is the foundation of all culture. And rather than passive relaxation, leisure is really a state of active receptivity: not the absence of activity but the presence of depth.
In the High Middle Ages, idleness wasn't understood as "doing nothing." Being idle was refusing to engage deeply with existence. Ironically, the modern workaholic is the true idler: "the restlessness of work-for-work's-sake arises from nothing other than idleness."
Engaging in true leisure isn't easy. You must learn to be at leisure, with intention and willingness to cultivate stillness. Pieper:
"The condition of utmost exertion is more easily realized than the condition of relaxation and detachment, even though the latter is effortless."
It's a paradoxical discipline, in the sense that it requires effort to relax in a way that truly restores you. But it is through leisure that you encounter truth, beauty, and meaning.
Pieper writes much about the role of the festival. If creation is good, we ought to celebrate it:
"And just as Holy Scripture tells us that God rested on the seventh day and beheld that ‘the work which he had made’ was ‘very good’—so too it is leisure which leads man to accept the reality of creation and thus to celebrate it, resting on the inner vision that accompanies it."
In our work-obsessed world, many use parties to drug or otherwise distract themselves from life. But in Pieper's conception, a true party is a heightening and celebration of life, a specific and time-bound event that points to the timeless and universal.
"Feast days and holy-days are the inner source of leisure. It is because leisure takes its origin from ‘celebration’ that it is not only effortless but the direct contrary of effort; not just the negative in the sense of being no effort, but the positive counterpart."
However, the biggest revelation comes when you realize that you can actually reverse-engineer this process and turn even "ordinary" moments into moments of leisure.
No matter where you are, leisure can be found when you let reality wash over you, pierce through the veil of mundanity to see its hidden beauty, and take a moment to express your gratitude.
The PC is about to become a lot more personal.
Today, I’m excited to announce a partnership between @AMD and @perplexity_ai to bring Perplexity Portable Computer to AMD Ryzen AI Halo.
This is more than running AI locally. We’re creating a new kind of agentic PC that can understand your work, reason through problems, and take action on your behalf, right on the device where your work happens.
With one click, users can bring powerful AI models and agents to their PC, work with local files and applications, and run recurring workflows on device. When a task needs more advanced research or reasoning, Portable can tap into the cloud with permission.
Your models. Your agents. Your data. Your stack.
For decades, the PC has been a tool for getting things done. Personal AI changes that. The PC can now become a true partner in the work, helping turn information into insight and ideas into action.
Big thank you to @AravSrinivas and the entire Perplexity team for making this possible.
The PC transformed how we work and create. Now we’re creating the platform for the era of Personal AI.
And this is just the beginning.
SpaceXAI has just introduced Grok @Bot Creator Rewards!
Rewards will go out every two weeks. Rewards are based on usage:
• How many people use your Bots. Are your Bots useful and popular?
• How often your Bots are used. Are your Bots providing consistent value over time?
For your templates to be eligible for rewards, you must:
• Post about your public Bots (and specifically link to them) on X ≥ 2x per pay period
• Have X Money set up
• Payouts will be sent as part of X’s Original Content Rewards for now.
In the last two weeks, I’ve earned $500 in rewards due to people using my Home Robots template 🔥

The Bible is a physics textbook, part 4.
Ecclesiastes 3:11:
“He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
For most of human history, time seemed pretty straightforward. One second is one second and everyone moves through time together.
Then Einstein came along lol
Relativity showed us that time actually passes at different rates depending on your speed and gravity. Two people can experience different amounts of elapsed time between events and both measurements can be correct.
We’ve measured this with atomic clocks - very interesting to learn about.
So time, one of the most basic parts of reality, is far stranger than the way we experience it.
I find it fascinating that the Bible talks so much about eternity, beginnings, endings and a God outside our ordinary experience of time when physics eventually discovered that time itself isn’t as absolute as we thought.
Happy Sunday :)
