The Global Biofuels Alliance has officially selected the 15 fellows for our Global Biofuels Champion Fellowship (GBCF)!

Launched at #COP30 in Brazil, this program fosters global innovation and research. After a highly competitive process, our cohort is ready to take on this 1-year program. Fellows will receive a grant of up to US $15,000 and will serve as Global Biofuels Alliance Ambassadors for a minimum of two years following the completion of the program.

The application window for the Global Biofuel Champion Fellowship (GBCF) closed on 31 December 2025, marking the culmination of a truly global talent search.

Through in-depth webinars, worldwide social media outreach, and focused mentor interactions, the fellowship received an overwhelming response from 32 countries. The first round of screening is currently underway, with shortlisted proposals to be shared with the Mentor Committee by the end of today.

GBCF has been thoughtfully designed to address critical biofuel challenges through high-impact research.
