Starting this page to share some tips and advice I have learned over the last 10 years to help people work their way towards financial freedom. By no means am I an expert, but it’s important we all learn basic financial literacy. Follow along!
After 10 years managing assets on Wall Street I can tell you that the wealthiest people I have ever worked with do not just earn differently. They think about income in a completely different category. A salary is not the goal. A salary is the starting capital.
I accepted my first salary offer without negotiating because I was grateful to have the job and scared of seeming difficult. I had no idea that decision would echo through every single raise, bonus and job offer for the next decade.
@Budgetdog_ it's possible, but the market is way ahead of itself. One of the most valuable companies in a matter of a week and yet it is not even generating a profit. I do believe it will be one of the biggest companies of the future, but time will tell

I tried three side hustles in my 20s. All three generated income that I mostly spent on things I barely remember today. What I wish I had done with even half of that income was invest it and let compound interest do what it does!
What to do with your first paycheck:
1. Open up a HYSA
2. Get your 401K match
3. Set some aside to invest
4. Write down your expenses to keep track of where the paycheck is going
Anything leftover, pay yourself and have some fun!
