@JerrellPWill The conservatives left a long time ago otherwise neither of the resolutions would never have passed. Some have better things to do than to fight every single convention on the same issues.
@ZionOld@clandes606 The denomination is maybe 10% of Mennonites in the US (even less if you consider groups that are Mennonite but don’t have in the name). When the denomination came together in 2004 it was about 150k and today it’s around 60k or so.
@ThePeterBuller When you’re willing to alienate anyone who disagrees with you until they leave; prayer isn’t really necessary to accomplish the remaining people’s goals.

@DeseretStone If Mennonites have taught us anything, it’s that you keep “discerning” until everyone else leaves; then you can vote and call it a unanimous move of the “Spirit.”
