@elonmusk Since DOGE got the invite to the Postal Service, I thought you should see this... Can you identify the waste in the Postal Service between 2014 and 2024?
@elonmusk NOAA and the NWS are VITAL to not only the people, but to organizations like SpaceX, and Sports Stadiums, as well as for transportation departments.
Why do you keep cutting employees instead of going after those with 6 figure salaries who turned into multi-millionaires?
@elonmusk - You do realize the cuts at NOAA will make it more difficult to launch SpaceX rockets? The balloon launches that were not done today are part of the dataset that helps with forecasting, even for Cape Canaveral. Your private forecast firm uses that data too.
@elonmusk Maybe if companies paid a living wage for a family of 4 to one person of the family, the other could stay home and raise the kids, and society could expand. Greed will kill off society faster than any other disease, even COVID. It starts with a change of corporate mindset.
@elonmusk@elonmusk - This is why ALL Corporations, businesses, and others fail. Then, they sell to a hedge fund, that hedge fund gets as much money out of them as they can, then file for bankruptcy, only to close the business, run away with all the profits, and take over another company.
@mrbunnybuns@NWSSPC The standards have changed to the point that EF-5 ratings are nearly impossible, by doing so, that moved many EF-5's into EF-4 category, which means they had to raise the standards for EF-4, etc.
@elonmusk - I don't know what you guys are thinking, but these changes are making life-safety of weather alerts get shut off. @nadocast@NWS and others are affected by this change too. Let's look in to this!
Yesterday, my Twitter app lost access to v1.1 API and the associated "elevated" API limits. This forced a migration to v2 API for tweeting, which has the insanely low rate limits.
So IEMBot is dead, until hopefully one of the back channels on this yields fruit. Sigh.
@FOXWeatherDesk@NugeWx You should offer compensation for the work other people do, instead of just offering credit... You catch more flies with honey than with an empty plate...
@CPFoodBlog Must not have sold enough "line-jumping" passes last year to afford the other colors... Looks mighty bland for the one good Intamin that's still running in the park...
@TonyClarkCP Did they not sell enough "line-jumping" passes last year to afford the other colors? Looks pretty bland and vanilla for one of the few "good" Intamins that will be running at the park this year...
@NWSMarquette Historic Travels on YouTube does a great synopsis of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, worth listening to... follow here: https://t.co/R3EaB2Pj2j
@NWSWichita I prefer A for the fact that you can see how it rose, so if you are down-river, you know what to expect, and it's easier to determine flood stage. Keep it simple.
