June 16, 2026 was a huge day for Anichess and the community.

The world's #1 chess player, Magnus Carlsen, took on some of the strongest Anichess players in a tournament with a 1,000,000 $CHECK prize pool

But the question everyone had was:

Could anyone actually beat Magnus?

Before the games kicked off, players had access to spells that make @AnichessGame unlike any other chess game, such as:

Magnus entered the tournament as the player everyone wanted to beat. As he has said before, as long as he's in good shape, he'll always be a dangerous opponent.

➵ Oleg Badmatsyrenov

➵ Yoseph Theo

Personally, I watched Anna-Maya's game, and she was really impressive. Her Anichess rating speaks for itself, and she showed exactly why she's considered one of the strongest competitors in the field.

One cool moment came after her win, when Magnus picked up the Chaos Summon spell she had and used it in his next game.

Despite Magnus looking as dangerous as ever, Anichess had a surprise in store.

Cabbage White made the most of his spells and timing, turning the tables with a perfectly timed win before the tournament came to an end and proving that even the world's #1 player can be challenged in Anichess.

GGs to everyone who competed. Another memorable tournament and another reminder of why Anichess continues to be one of the most exciting twists on chess today.

with how the market is right now, a lot of traders would rather just sit in stables and protect what they already have.

Not everyone is trying to chase gains at the moment

Right now, it’s not about winning big, it’s about not giving back what you already made.

That’s where I’d look at something like USD1.

If you’re already in stables because the market structure is weak, you might as well put it somewhere it’s actually working.

Instead of just holding and waiting, you can allocate into USD1 and earn up to 15% APR on @MEXC while the market is still without a clear direction.

At least your capital stays productive while you’re out of risk exposure.
